Overseas Trips
As part of our mission, we feel compeled to offer trips to Hawaii youth to travel and see the world. To do this we offer partial or full scholarships for students who join the Hawaii Leaders Core. These trips consist of three main parts:
1. Leadership Conferences
The trips are scheduled around leadership conferences of all shapes and sizes were the students can learn and grow. We hand-select conferences that we send our youth to, offering them only the best.
2. Exploration
Students are allowed to explore country they are in and participate in the native culture. This may include checking out colleges, traveling around large cities and learning how to use the metro system, going to Disneyland, or hang out with our local contacts and other kids their age.
3. Teaching
Finally, they come home and teach what they have learned to their fellow youth and their families. This allows them to step up as leaders and contribute to the community.
Speakers of Hawaii
The Speakers of Hawaii is a speaker series that can be hired out by schools and teaches students how to overcome challenges the school feels is important in their community. They feature a local Hawaii Leaders Core youth speaker speaking alongside an international speaker who is an expert in the subject the school has chosen. Unlike other speakers series, we do not just spread awareness of the topic, we actually give students skills and resources they can use in their daily life to overcome the challenge.
World Class Speakers
We sponsor world class speakers and bring them to public and private high schools across Hawaii. These speakers are hand picked by the Hawaii Leaders Core and offer a wide range of topics and talents that we tailor to the school’s or organizations particular needs. We are connected with an international speaking community and can bring in experts in any desired field.
Harry Singha
Harry Singha began his professional speaking career at the tender age of sixteen ! Three decades later he now mentors others to become World Class Speakers and now speaks across five continents every year and shares the stage with the likes of Sir Richard Branson, Brian Tracy, Nick Vujicic, President Clinton & Trump!, Eddie the Eagle and Tony Robbins! Harry’s Foundation have been delivering Youth Leadership Summits since 1996 and now impact over a million young people every year.
Veenu Keller
For two decades, Veenu Keller has worked with teens and adults to inspire them to believe in themselves and to know they always have a choice. Veenu has spent this time working with at risk teens, children with disabilities and parents of children with behavioral issues, drawing on her own experiences to coach people to aspire to want more and be more.
Casper Craven
I believe in challenging conventional thinking on how leaders and teams become truly effective and create extraordinary results. I have 30 years’ experience in building teams to make things happen. Starting as an entrepreneur at the age of 14, I have built and led teams in global corporations, start-up businesses, struggling businesses and high growth businesses. I’ve built a team on a trophy-winning world racing yacht. But my toughest challenge by far was building my family team to sail around the world: with my wife and three children aged 9, 7 and 2. Along the way I’ve built three separate successful million dollar businesses from scratch and sold one whilst sailing the Pacific Ocean.
